With stakes higher than ever, World Heroes Mission is exactly the kind of plot that works for a film version of a popular franchise. The third My Hero Academia movie introduces a new villain faction named Humarise to the world. Humarise is a collection of human supremacists who believe people with Quirks will eventually bring about the destruction of all humanity, an idea related to the Quirk Singularity theory.
Rather than allow that to happen, Humarise has developed the Trigger Bomb, a weapon that kills only people with quirks. Around the world, heroes are forced to find and disarm these Trigger Bombs before they can explode, trying to save the world from its would-be saviors. There are some obvious social and racial subtexts here, making this film feel more contemporary than the rest of the MHA franchise without sacrificing the popular characters and explosive action that drives the franchise.

Howl's Moving Castle is widely considered one of the best Studio Ghibli movies, this time based on a novel by famous fantasy author Diana Wynne Jones. Sophie is an ordinary hat-maker when an encounter with the Witch of the Wastes transforms her from a young girl into an old woman. Refusing to accept this, Sophie goes looking for a wizard named Howl to have the spell undone.
While Howl's Moving Castle makes some major changes from the novel, even fans of the original book will find this movie hard to ignore. Miyazaki's interpretation might be different, but he weaves a compelling anti-war narrative, wrapped in the sumptuous art and smooth animation Studio Ghibli is known for.
